It's hard to know what size to buy because we have absolutely no idea how old or how big she will be or even what season we'll be in. But it is the year of the pig!

Musings of a Waiting Mom

This is such a "Lori way to think" so, hang in there . . . .
I have always sort of had a thing for pigs, not really on purpose it just kind of happened. When I was in 5th and 6th grade I collected everything I could get my hands on that had anything to do with Miss Piggy. We currently have a huge picture of this cute little pink pig jumping off a dock into a pond hanging in our living room, and another little pig picture in our powder bath. We even have a Chinese Pug for a dog (get it pug/pig, and she sort of looks like a pig, and snorts like one). It's a stretch . . . I'm telling you. We have a hunch that Avery will be born this year. Here's the clencher . . . according to the Chinese calendar this is the year of the PIG! What a hoot!!

CCAA Has Updated It's Site

Here is the latest from the CCAA website:

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before March 22, 2006.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before October 13, 2005.

YAY! Forward movement! This means that our friends the Johnson's got their referral yesterday, her name is Kambry Hope. We are only 8 months from being in the review room! Their last update was for Jan. 31, so they moved 2 mos. on reviews. If they keep that pace we could be in the review room in 4 months.
