So What Does This Mean?

Now that we are in the Special Needs program we wait, but not near as long. Instead of the CC%A matching us Dillon, our adoption agency will. They will look at the SN database and filter according to what we filled out on our checklist, gender, and birthdate. Then they call us saying they have a potential match for us. We have 48 hours to accept or deny that match. In that 48 hours we have to do some paperwork and meet with a physician to go over her special need. It is going to be a fast and furious 2 days! Every month the CC@A adds new children to the special needs database. Our family has to have a baby that is born on Oct. 1, 2008 or after because there has to be at least one year's difference between Carlie's birthday and Avery's.

We tried to squeeze an idea of how much longer from our social worker, but she was very cautious and didn't give us any ideas of when she might be able to match us. Patience - AGAIN!
