A Little Pep Talk

I've been feeling a little blah, and disappointed about the whole adoption thing. Sometimes the wait gets to me and I think this adoption will never happen, that something will get in the way of it.  I need a pep talk!  I need to pump myself up a bit! Here goes:

For faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Hebrews 1:1

guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 25:5

We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
Psalm 33:20

For in You, O LORD, I hope;You will hear, O Lord my God.

Why am I so sad?
Why am I so upset?
I should put my hope in God
and keep praising him,
my Savior and my God.
Psalm 42:4-6

God, the one and only— I'll wait as long as he says. Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not? He's solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, An impregnable castle: I'm set for life.
